COMMISSIONED
14FT TABLE & BENCHES
THE CHALLENGE A massive, open gathering space needed a dining experience to match its scale. The table had to feel architectural, intentional, and permanent—something that looked like it belonged there, not simply placed there.
THE IDEA Design and build a table as a structural element rather than a piece of furniture. The table would anchor the room, invite connection, and bring warmth, craft, and a sense of weight to the space.
THE EXECUTION Every proportion, joint, and detail was carefully considered and built by hand—from the engineered base and layered beams to the custom legs, finish, and matching benches. The build process was guided by structure first, beauty second, ensuring the table felt solid, grounded, and built to last.
THE RESULT A functional centerpiece that feels architectural, crafted, and permanent. The table reshaped how the space is used—encouraging gathering, conversation, and shared experience—while standing as a piece of craftsmanship meant to live and age with the environment.
