I’m Tom Kettlewell, founder of Kettlewell + Co.

I began my career with a BFA in design and spent more than 25 years as a creative director in the advertising world — building brand systems, campaigns, and visual identities for national and international clients. That work sharpened my eye for clarity, intention, and storytelling.

Over time, my creative practice expanded beyond branding and design into art, fabrication, photography, and hands-on spatial work. I realized the same principles that guide great brands also shape the physical spaces and objects we live with.

Kettlewell + Co is where all of that comes together.

We’re a design and experience studio blending creative direction, thoughtful design, and hands-on craftsmanship to create work that feels intentional, functional, and lasting.

Our work spans brand identity, advertising, marketing, digital and social content, environmental design, custom builds, fine arts, photography, and spatial refinements. Whether it’s a campaign, a visual system, a built installation, or a redesigned space, the goal is always the same: to create something intentional, useful, and built with care.
